Kindred Continuum features four hosts rotating throughout the month:

1st Monday: The Equity Hour: Where the Political is personal with co-hosts Cindy “Renee” Provencio and Kit West 

The Equity Hour is a talk show dedicated to unpacking current political events that impact the most marginalized folks. Co-hosts Renee and Kit set out to do this work with research, interviews with experts and activists as well as everyday people.

2nd Monday: Poetry Bread Presents with Howie Richey

An exploration of the spoken word. Join us as we listen to poets, artists and community in their own words. We’ll share poems, prose, short stories, tall tales, speeches, and more as we listen to the poetic voices that shape our community

3rd Monday: New Earth Kids with Nan Franzblau

Tune in to New Earth Kids to find out what kids of all ages in southwest New Mexico are doing to find and implement solutions to address environmental concerns.  From garden-to-table programs at local elementary schools to Youth Conservation Corps projects in Grant County, New Earth Kids features kids who care about their community and the planet we all share.

New Earth Kids is produced by the Upper Gila Watershed Alliance’s youth empowerment program Thinking on a Mountain for Gila Mimbres Community Radio.

4th Monday: Tilantongo – Conversations from Indigenous Mexico; Conversaciones desde el México indigena

Phil and Kathy Dahl-Bredine bring perspectives and insights from Oaxaca, where they have lived with and learned from indigenous Mixtec people since 2001. This bilingual program features interviews with villagers, educators, environmental advocates, historians, and more.
