GMCR & The Media

“We’ve only just begun…”

We consider our first mention in the 10 October 2005 edition of the Silver City Daily Press to be particularly auspicious as it occurred in the context of Hometown Initiative – a forum to address a number of economic, environmental, public safety, sustainable development, and yes, media issues by a broad cross section of of citizens and activists reflecting the diversity and creativity of Southwest New Mexico.

In addition we periodically submit advisories to local and national media on our events and activities, some of which we also post to our website.

Beyond that, we will also be observing, presenting a range of views and commenting on developments in the local, regional, national, international and – hey… why not? – intergalactic media.  There IS such a thing, you know!
