| On October 26, 2025, 19 Vietnamese monks began a 2,300 mile walk from Fort Worth Texas to Washington DC to promote peace throughout the world. Community radio station KURU and Lotus Center are sponsoring a guided meditation to honor the monks and their walk for peace. The meditation will be held on the morning of Thursday, February 12, which is the estimated arrival date of the monks into Washington; it’s our understanding that the monks will speak to the U.S. Congress on the 13th and the President on the 14th.
